An Easy Script For Version 2.0
(Phone or In Person)
I want to share with you one of the easiest scripts you’ll ever come across to use with the Retirement Readiness Kit found in Version 2.0 of your OnDemand Seminar.
You can use this script while on the telephone or meeting in person. It works either way. It’s simple, straightforward and easy to learn.

One Simple Script
I would use this script with anyone you speak with, all day, every day, for the next 18 years as 10,000 Baby Boomers a day reaching retirement age.
If you will commit to sharing this story with every prospect you come in contact with on the phone or in person, you’ll generate more activity, more traffic to your site, more seminar views, more appointment requests, more referrals and ultimately more business.
There are two ways to use the script. In person or on the telephone…
If I’m in person, I want to use this script in conjunction with something like the Foldover Business Cards. This way I can hand the prospect something they can take with them. At the end of the script, I’ll hand them the Foldover Business Card and open it up right in front of them so I can show them the Retirement Readiness Kit and point out the domain name where they can access it.

If I’m in person meeting with a prospect, I want to be able to hand them something tangible. My choice would be the large size (4” x 6”) Foldover Business Card.

If I’m on the telephone, I want to take them directly to my OnDemand Seminar site and walk them through the registration page while they are on the phone with me.
Don’t take the easy way out and just give them the web address and hang up. Take 20 seconds more and take them to the website while you’re on the phone and have them register right then.
I’ll say, “in fact, if you’re in front of a computer, go to www.yourdomainname.com and tell me when that page comes up and I’ll show you how to download it now”.

Version 2.0 Script
You can have this script memorized, internalized and brought to life with energy, enthusiasm and excitement in less than 1 hour.
I remember a lesson my branch manager taught me my first week in the business. He pulled me aside and said, “Steve, I don’t care what you like because there’s lots of things to choose from, but just like something and then go tell that story to a lot of people.”
Hey, close your eyes and throw a dart at anyone over the age of 50 and for 9 out of 10 of them, this is their biggest financial concern. The good news is that you’ve got a solution to their problems, and at no cost and no obligation to them, so fall in love with this story and then go tell that story to a lot of people.
I have always been a big fan of Zig Ziglar, and one of my favorite quotes of Zig’s is below. This quote was the cornerstone of building my business as a financial advisor and becoming a Million Dollar Producer at the ripe old age of 21, and it was also the centerpiece and foundation of the business I have today.
I also think this quote is very applicable when it comes to the Retirement Income Analysis and adding value to the tremendous number of Pre & Post Retirees that desperately need your help. When you look at study after study, it’s not just a Retirement Crisis, but rather a financial tsunami that is going to touch millions of unsuspecting individuals approaching retirement in both the US and Canada.
My Question To You…
- How many people will you get to serve today?
- How many friends will you make today?
- How many financial lives will you save today?
- What volume of assets might you capture today?
See, this is not about closing sales. In fact, it’s not about closing anything. It’s about opening things. Opening doors. Opening a dialogue. Opening relationships.
I ask again…How many people will you get to help today?
K.I.S.S. – Keep It Simple Stupid
If you want to make this difficult, you can. You can overcomplicate it and think too much, but you don’t need to. Fall in love with this story and then go share that story with an awful lot of people, and see how many people you can serve today, and tomorrow, and the next day…for 18 more years.
Make the commitment that starting today, you’re going to use this script and your OnDemand Seminar to position you as RETIREMENT INCOME CENTRAL in your area.
